How meditation makes it possible?

We humans are born with two sources of power - physical power and mental power - the body and the mind.

There are limits to what the body can accomplish. But there are no limits to what the mind can do.

Our body cannot travel to space within seconds, but our mind can.

Our body gets tired and needs rest. Our mind does not need any rest. Our mind stays alert and working even when we are asleep.

From art, literature, science, technology - everything that you see around you was formed in the mind first. It is the mind that formed the ideas and then manifested them into reality.

Scientists have divided the mind into 3 main parts - the conscious mind, the subconscious mind and the unconscious mind.

The conscious mind is the part of the mind that we are aware of. We think, judge, argue and make decisions with this mind.
This mind works according to logic, preconceived ideas and beliefs etc.

The subconscious mind creates the mental programs and carries them out.

This part of the mind cannot judge between good and bad. It listens to the information from the conscious mind and creates the programs accordingly and directs your mind that way.

If it learns fear from the conscious part, it makes you feel fearful or intensify your phobia etc.

The unconscious mind is the mysterious part which scientists call to be the inaccessible part of the mind. Spiritual masters, saints and sages call this part of the mind to be the Higher Consciousness.

Meditation is the process of accessing the conscious and the unconscious mind so that we can make the best use of our mental power.

Since the subconscious mind carries out all our mental programs automatically, through meditation we control the programs that we want the subconscious to carry out.

For example, instead of being fearful, we want to be courageous. So we give “courage” program to the subconscious instead of “fear”.

How do we give the program to the subconscious?

The answer is brainwave.

When the brain wave is at alpha or theta level, the subconscious becomes alert and takes information from the conscious mind.

But our brain goes to alpha/theta level only when we are about to fall asleep and feel extremely drowsy.

Meditation is the process through which we stay alert and awake at this level.

Step by step, we calm and soothe our mind to reach the alpha/theta brainwave while still being awake and alert.

Reaching at the level, we start consciously giving the information through words, pictures (visualization) and sensations (imaginary) to the subconscious mind.

As the subconscious mind cannot distinguish between imagination and reality, it readily accepts the information and runs mental programs accordingly.

That is how change is possible through meditation.

You can heal, succeed, find love and happiness and everything you want by giving the right program to your mind through practicing meditation.
